Interesting Facts
  • This event was original only going to be a 2-day event but it sold out so fast that the PBR added Friday to the line up only a month ago and it sold out too!!
  • Ben Jones was riding Friday night with food poisoning.
  • Jess Lockwood is making this BFTS debut this weekend as the young age of 18 and he is still in high school!
  • J.B. Mauney did not ride in round one after getting beat up in the chute. After going back to sports med to see Dr. Tandy Freeman it was found out that Mauney lost feeling in his arm for about 30 minutes. Mauney sprained his left elbow and likely stretched or pinched a nerve causing numbness in his hand. Mauney was questionable for round two.
  • Ben Jones after bucking off Swashbuckler was taken to the hospital and found to have a dislocated left shoulder. Jones was out of competition after round two.
  • Matt Triplett partially dislocated his left shoulder after round two. Triplett decided to compete the rest of the weekend with the injury. Triplett will get an MRI this coming week to see what needs to be done to fix his shoulder.
  • Paul Lima aggravated his knee injury from #PBRABQ and would be out of competition after round two.
  • Wallace Vieira de Oliveira sustained a right knew sprain after round two.
  • Robson Aragao was DQ after getting put on the clock and then the bull acted up in the chute and Aragao was unable to get out in the thirty seconds.
  • Round two saw 8 bull riders be put on the clock. The clock controversy will probably now be a larger topic as it seems lately more have been getting put on the clock.
  • During the 15/15 bucking battle due to injury Ben Jones and Paul Lima where out so Ryan Dirteater and Stetson Lawrence where in.
  • Alexandre Cardozo was out of action for round three after Cardozo folder up under the bull in round two.
  • Mike Lee gets even closer to the 500 qualified rides in his career knocking down numbers 495, 496, and 497!

Onto North Little Rock, AR next weekend for the Bad Boy Mowdown. This stop will be a 2-day event. See y'all next weekend!!
