Interesting Facts

• Shane Proctor was out of action after round one due to a concussion sustained after riding Rebel Yell II.
• Derek Kolbaba was out of action after round one due to a riding hand injury sustained after riding Honkey Tonk.
• Wallace Vieira de Oliveira was out of action after round one due to right facial contusion sustained after riding Acting Crazy.
• Since Proctor, Kolbaba, and Oliveira where out of action after the first long round they did not compete in the 15/15 bucking battle so Kaique Pacheco, Cooper Davis, and Kasey Hayes took their places.
• Long round one saw a shockingly low qualified riders with only 5!! This might be an all time low record.
• Long round one was an ABBI Classic sanctioned event.
• Sweet Pro's Bruiser has now posted three consecutive 46-point bull scores.
• After Nevada Newman got bucked off in the 15/15 bucking battle he got some advise from a legend in the sport, Ross Coleman.
• Before Sunday's event Ben Jones got some great advice from a nine-time world champion, Ty Murray, "stop thinking."
• Guilherme Marchi decided not to partake in Sunday's action due to a sore riding hand.
• Robson Palermo was out of action for the championship round due to aggravating a lower back injury.
• Fabiano Vieira is out of action for the championship round due to a concussion.
• The championship round again this week saw only 14 riders make it either due to injury or not enough qualified rides.
• During this event J.B. Mauney moved into the number one position in the world standings!!

Onto Arlington, TX next weekend for the second PBR Major of the year - The Iron Cowboy! This stop will be a one day event but the format is last cowboy standing. It's ride or go home.
