  • J.B. Mauney got his thumb caught up in his rope and ripped open the tip of his thumb trying to dismount in long round one action.
  • Michael Lane took a direct hit to the head from the bull in long round one. Lane sustained a concussion and face lacerations. Lane was out of action for day two as he did not pass the concussion test. He told Brandon Bates that he would not know where he would be if it wasn't for his helmet. Lane has always ridden with a helmet so it has never affected his riding style. Lane stated that while walking out of the arena on Friday night he thanked God for letting him get up and walkout on his own two feet.
  • Shorty Gorham was out of action on Saturday night due to a knee injury sustained on Friday night. According to Brandon Bates his knee cap is all swollen up and that there is blood filling up behind the knee cap. At this time we don't know if he will be back in action for St. Louis.

Onto St. Louis, MO next weekend for the Bass Pro Chute Out Presented by Cooper Tires. This stop will be an 3-day event and will include at 15/15 bucking battle. See y'all next weekend!!
